We hope you all had a great summer!  With the new academic year almost here, we’d like to remind you of the Library’s Course Reserve service! If you would like to place a Leeward CC Library item or a personal copy of your course’s required and/or supplemental text on Reserve for the Fall 2018 and/or Spring 2019 semester, you can fill out our easy online request form [New Window].  Our Course Reserve procedures [New Window] are available if you would like more information about this service.

Course Reserves are an incredible benefit to offer to your students, as it makes texts readily available for them to borrow from the Library.  Items on Reserve can be checked out for either a 3-hour or 3-day loan period (which you can specify when you fill out the form) depending on the need, purpose, or anticipated demand for the item.

Students who utilize Course Reserves have consistently been very appreciative of the service, and find that it affords them the opportunity to further hone their study and research skills, improve their understanding of course topics, and provides access to titles that may not be available at the Bookstore or online.
