A Couple of Service Updates:
- Leeward CC Books and Videos
We are now offering book and video pick-up services for Leeward CC students! Students may request Leeward CC Library books and videos by filling out our Item Pick-Up Request Form [New Window] or contacting the circulation desk staff (x210, lcccirc@hawaii.edu). We are unable to fulfill requests from the other UH campuses but we will let you know when this service is reactivated!
- Leeward CC Interlibrary Loans: Article Requests
We also brought back article requests [New Window]! What is this, you ask? If you are browsing our library catalog and come across an article we do not have–on the article’s item record/info:
- Scroll down to the “How to Get It” section and if you aren’t logged in, “Sign in” with your UH username and password
- Click on the “Leeward CC Interlibrary Loan Article Request” link
- Fill out the “Article Request” form
- Click “Submit“

Fall 2019 Validation Stickers
Please remind students to drop by the library’s circulation desk to validate their Leeward CC student ID cards [New Window]. A validated ID card allows students to borrow library items, print and photocopy documents, and participate in Student Life activities.
Validation stickers will be available Tuesday, August 20th. To check our hours, view our library calendar [New Window].
Fall 2019 Course Reserves
Have you updated your course reserves [New Window] in the library yet?
Course reserves are books and materials instructors have set aside for their students to use. Some items are from the library’s collections but most items are the instructors’ personal copies. Our course reserve shelf is located at the front/circulation desk and students will have to show their validated student ID to check items out.
If you are interested in placing an item on our course reserve shelf, please fill out our Course Reserves Request Form [New Window] or contact Kale Kingsbury, x209 kalekona@hawaii.edu !
These electronic book titles have been added to the Course Reserves LibGuide [New Window] and the OverDrive database [New Window].
If you are interested in any of these titles below, click on the book cover image to access the e-book’s Hawaiʻi Voyager catalog record. In the record’s “Holdings Information,” the provided link will direct you to borrowing the e-book in OverDrive [New Window].

Student ID Card Validation

Computer Time Limits
The library installed LibData, a computer time and wait list management software, on the public computers.
- Students, faculty, and staff will need to log in with their UH ID number.
- Guests may request temporary passwords to log in to the public access computers.
- Except for public access computers, the time limit is 3 hours.
- Time renewals will be allowed if there are other computers available for incoming patrons.
If you have any questions, ask the circulation desk staff.
